Short Biography
Terrence Chen is the head of Vision Technologies and Solutions research group at Siemens Corporate Research in Princeton.
He is a senior member of IEEE. He received a PhD in Computer Science from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2006.
His expertise is in computer vision, medical imaging, pattern recognition, and machine learning and has published over 30 papers in leading journals and conferences.
His research group focuses on research and development in computer vision technologies applied to 2D images and videos, as well as 3D vision technologies.
The group has obtained multiple awards in medical and technical conferences. Many of the developed technologies lead to Siemens industrial or healthcare products
which differentiat Siemens from competitors.
