The goal of visual gesture research (VGR) is to study the problems involved in implementing an immersive visual gesture interface in order to achieve a more natural human computer interaction. Several topics are explored including the study of hand modeling, various tracking algorithms, and analysis and synthesis of gestures. Our work can be found under Research and Publications sections, and results are shown in Demos section. VGR is a subgroup under Image Formation and Processing (IFP) Group at Beckman Institute at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
